Van Meeuwen: responsible
Van Meeuwen takes responsibility for the health and safety of customers and employees. By means of certification we have secured processes, described our organisation and guaranteed our quality. In this way we maintain long-term relationships with our customers under the motto ‘Everything runs smoothly with Van Meeuwen’.
Certification General
- ISO 9001:2008 certified;
- VCA certified, a guarantee for structural attention for occupational safety and the environment;
Food Industry Certification:
- ISO 22000 certified;
- ISO 17024 certified: our Service Engineers performing activities on the work floor with our customers are personally and HACCP certified;
- Our food safe lubricants are NSF H1 registered;
REACH
Van Meeuwen is fully informed of the Reach legislation, EU 1907/2006, and supports it in total co-operation with our suppliers.
Memberships of trade organisations
- We are actively involved in the sub-group of Lubricants of the European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG), stimulating hygienic food production.
- We are active in the management of the VSN, Vereniging Smeerolieondernemingen Nederland (Association for Lubricating Oil Companies Netherlands). This industry organisation detects developments on the market for lubricants and current topics, such as biologically degradable lubricants, product specifications and used oil and basic oils.
